I am just going to quickly post this because !"#$%&!!!! The questions keep piling up and I can't get it all done.

1. What were some of the smells and tastes of your childhood?
Smelly Stickers, smelly erasers were very popular.

2. What did you have as a child that you do not think children today have?
LP records, cassette tapes, double cassette deck boom box(handy for copying tapes).

3. What elementary grade was your favorite?
5th Grade. I don't know why but the teacher was very popular... or maybe I just liked her a lot. She had crafts at the back of the classroom and a comfortable reading nook.

4. What summer do you remember the best as a child?
Going to Karuizawa (a cool town in the mountains) during the summer and meeting some handsome German dudes :D

5. What one piece of advice would you give to your younger self, and at what age?
At 10, don't think you have to eat a large plate of food or get a snack just because everyone else is.
At 16 - don't go overboard on the dieting or all the effort will be for nothing.

1. What's one of the nicest things a friend has ever done for you?
Paying for a trip for me. A friend/acquaintance from my uni dorm had me over during the Christmas break.

2. What's one of the nicest things a stranger has ever done for you?
Many small things I'm sure, like helping me get somewhere or pick up some things. I don't particularly remember them right now, unfortunately.

3. What is a trait in another person that you instantly admire, and that draws you to them?
I was drawn to one guy I interviewed for a teacher position. It wasn't sexual or anything. I just really really liked him as soon as I saw him. I thought it was the way he smiled, but it could have been the feeling that he was open and not hiding anything.

4. What is a trait in another person that instantly repels you, and prevents you from forming a close relationship with them?
With people I've just met, it's the feeling that the person is being dishonest, or hiding their true self.

5. Time to vent: tell us about something rotten someone has done to you.
I vent about my husband a lot here, but today I'm really frustrated by some students moms for mailing me 3 days late regarding participation in the Cbristmas presentation. We have a practice tomorrow, and I've already made the play. I'd really needed the number of students on time so I could prepare a part for them.
